As I write this, my head hurts, I am tired, and I want to kick back and relax, changing my money habits is the last thing on my mind after a long day at work! Maybe you can relate?
Maybe this is you today, tired, worn out, frustrated with how your finances and your accomplishments look.
You’re sitting in your chair wishing you had a double of yourself that did everything for you, so you never had to worry about your money!
Then you could chill… Right?
For me, in times of trouble, there is a usually a financial aspect that goes along with each predicament I find myself in. Why? Because when I’m in a crisis, having money actually helps, a lot in fact.
When I am most tired, it’s usually because I was working at my job, for money. When I am frustrated, it is usually because I wasn’t prepared to pay a bill or help someone out, with money.
When my body hurts, it is usually because I was sitting so much working on my computer…for money.
I can’t be the only one who sees this pattern. When I look at my life, I realize that I am spending a lot of time in the area of money, and much of my life force is currently being spent to acquire it.
Of course, money isn’t the only issue in life, there is the physical, spiritual, mental, relational, environmental, etc.
Many headaches can arise from all of these areas in life, but money takes a special place in the mix. That is why today, I am going to talk about how to Overcome financial problems, and why they happen.
Different Kinds of Issues
As I mentioned previously, there are many issues that can arise from different area of our lives, however, what kind of issues can arise, specifically, within the area of money?
Well, the list is quite numerous, here are some of the most common examples:
- Not enough money to buy what I want.
- Not enough money to pay the bills.
- Incurring interest due to late payments.
- Incurring debt due to overcharging.
- Becoming unhappy because of our jobs.
- Becoming unfulfilled in our line of work
- Becoming attached to our job, placing work above ourselves and our families.
I could keep going for hours, but you get the point.
Why These Troubles Arise
Believe it or not, most of my money troubles are not inherently true, nor are they random problems that pop up all of a sudden.
The best way to evaluate the source and validity of my problems is to:
- Ask myself if this is really a problem, or if it just in my head.
If these problems are real issues that need to be addressed, then I need to ask myself the following questions:
- Why do I have these problems?
- How do these problems affect me?
- Is there a solution?
That last one is especially important.
Is the issue of not having “enough” money real? Is that a fact? Is that true? Or… Is it because I didn’t manage my money correctly? Is it because I spent too much on something?
Is it because my job doesn’t pay me a high wage? I can ask myself these questions, but the answer remains the same, are my habits supportive of my goals? If not, have I changed my habits, to change my life?
How To Overcome The Present
By doing things differently, I can change my habits, and thus change my life. Everything in my life is built on habits. When I want to look at what I prioritize with my money, simply looking at what I’ve been buying lately will show me that very quickly.
The habit, determines my life. Not the spending, but what that spending is a result of.
Do I value money? Do I believe that I have access to unlimited resources because I am a success, and because God has made with incredible capability?
We can talk about God’s plan for us, and how he wants us to look at money, but I believe the next statements will not clash with anyone’s religion, just their beliefs…about money. 🙂
I am a Money Magnet, solutions to my problems and frustrations come to me easily! Overcoming problems is fun and easy!
How I Can Recycle The Past
History, the past, what has happened before, affects us in different ways.
The way you look at previous mistakes and failures in the area of money often dictates how we receive and handle money in the present and future.
When I look back at myself, I see mistakes, errors, failures, and just plain stupidity in the area of money. I also see success, however, ranging from very small things, to very big things.
Don’t focus on what you lack, what you need, what you did wrong, what you are doing wrong, or what you should be doing.
Those things are in the past, and are a part of a false image of yourself. I can’t say what you call yourself or what God has called you, but he most certainly hasn’t called you a failure.
Focus on what you are doing right! Focus on your successes, celebrate what you win, and what you get in life. I think many of us can look at our life, and find some good in it, regardless of what it is. I know I can.
I’ve said it before, there are many ways to over come financial issues. There are books, intelligent individuals who can help you, there are programs, techniques, you name it.
Not to mention you have yourself, and God! I don’t give myself enough credit some times, I discredit myself for the many solutions I make and actions I take daily.
The Reality of Success for Me
The reality is not subjective, it’s a reality regardless of what you believe. What reality am I talking about? The one surrounding your life.
You are limitless, powerful, strong, and amazingly creative!
That is a reality that you will never change, its part of our identity.
You might do things differently than others, but your inherent nature doesn’t change because you were made to be an achiever and success in life.
The main reason I didn’t talk so much on solutions, and more on why these issues arise, is because what I believe and do, is usually the root of the issue!
I don’t know what you are dealing with, but if you are anything like me, you struggle with something, ha, many things.
Yet, in today’s day and age, it is so easy to overcome problems with money with proper education, mindset, and spiritual empowerment!
The key is to look within and beyond myself. There are answers outside of myself that I can use to effectively jump over that wall in the area of money…
But there are also questions that only I can answer, because I’m unique and I’m not like everyone else.
This is good, because it means I have something the world has never seen before… A new solution!
I hope you have enjoyed what I have talked about today, and would love to hear your opinions about this topic!
Let me know what recent successes you have had, what problems you have overcome, and how you overcame them!
As always, let me know if you have any questions, or need anything, and I will get back to you asap!
